Celebrating Kim's Birthday and Campout

We celebrated Kim's 28th birthday at Mitchell's RV over Labor Day weekend. We had loads of fun, lots of good food and plenty of laughs. Cooper loved riding the little train, playing in the sand and riding the ranger. Every morning he would wake up and the first words out of his mouth were "ride ranger". He enjoyed playing at the playground and following other little kids around. Cooper even decided to get an egg and get in the egg toss, toss or shall I say throw a golf ball and hit Gana in the head, play in the waterfall at the miniature golf course and even chase Gana around and throw sand on her. Man, these little boys! Guess the pictures will tell the story. I do want to say "Happy Birthday" Kim, we love you very much. Thank you all for coming and spending the weekend with us, it was FUN!

We're Expecting...Grandbaby #4

Well what was all the "Buzz" about???? Ashley and Jordan are expecting a little one which will be due in March. We were so excited to finally hear the news and happy to know that Ashley is 11 weeks along and things look great this time.

Ashley and Jordan played a little prank on me and sent me into a panic attack. I offered to help Ash out by cleaning her house that Friday before the party. They had planted a book, "Twins, Triplets and More" in the magazine rack hoping that I would see it when I cleaned. We sure enough I did and that is when I started having a panic attack. It would be neat to have twins and they would be so cute I thought, but then I panicked about everything! Needless to say I did not sleep for two nights worrying about that because Ash is so small and I just did not know about her carrying twins. So I "worried" as usual.

The news Sunday was that they were only having one. I think I surprised them by keeping my mouth shut about it all and keeping it a secret until the party day. I didn't tell a soul that I had found that book, not even Donald because I wanted him to be shocked when he heard the news. (Ha)!

The party was great and I believed everyone enjoyed it. The kids got a kick out of playing on the slip and slide and the little pool. All the decorations looked great and the news was the best of all. Thank you for finally sharing the news with us. I am sure it was as hard on them to keep a secret as it was for me to keep wondering what was going on.

Congratulations Ashley and Jordan and we can't wait for that little one to arrive.

Kennedy Turns Two

We celebrated Kennedy's birthday and had a big time doing just about a little bit of everything. From messy cupcakes, hotdogs, jumping on the trampoline, playing basketball, playing in the play room, riding on the riding toys to riding in the wagon. I think all the little ones as well as us older ones had a great time. Happy 2nd Birthday Miss Kennedy. We love you very much.
